About this Artist

DOUG HARVEY grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he worked behind the scenes in the dramaturgical department at the American Conservatory Theatre and in artistic learning at the California Shakespeare Theatre. As an actor, he is making his Walt Disney Concert Hall debut in Esa-Pekka Salonen's Wing on Wing with the LA Philharmonic. Also with director Jessica Kubzansky, Doug played Milo in The Phantom Tollbooth (MainStreet Theatre Company). Other stage credits include: Pericles, Prince of Tyre (A Noise Within), Translations (Coeurage), Sixty Miles to Silver Lake (IAMA), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Harold Clurman Lab Theatre), Pericles (California Shakespeare Theatre). He received his BFA in Drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
