JASMINE PERRY grew up in Charlotte, NC, where she began her ballet training at North Carolina Dance Theater (now Charlotte Ballet) under Patricia McBride and Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux. At fourteen she moved to New York City to further her ballet training at the School of American Ballet under a full scholarship. During her four years there she traveled to various summer programs such as Pacific Northwest Ballet, Houston Ballet, and Miami City Ballet.
As a student, Jasmine was featured in Teen Vogue’s web series “Strictly Ballet,” and Dance Magazine’s “Dance212.” Upon graduation at the School of American Ballet, she moved to Los Angeles for her first season with Los Angeles Ballet. There she has performed in various Balanchine and story ballets: Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Serenade, Romeo and Juliet, and Sleeping Beauty, etc. This is her third season with Los Angeles Ballet as a corps de ballet member, as well as a teacher in the greater Los Angeles area.
