CONRAD JOHN SCHUCK (Capt. George Brackett, USN) was plucked from San Francisco's A.C.T. in 1969 by Robert Altman to play Painless in the original M*A*S*H motion picture. From then on, Schuck began a non-stop movie, television, and theater career. His first screen kiss was with Elizabeth Taylor! He has starred with Charlton Heston, Bette Midler, Richard Burton, Peter Ustinov, Rock Hudson, and Woody Allen, to name a few. On Broadway, he played Daddy Warbucks in the original Annie. He has reprised the role many times, most notably in the 20th Broadway revival and last Christmas at Madison Square Garden. Schuck was Buffalo Bill with Reba McEntire in Annie Get Your Gun and also joined Reba and Brian Stokes Mitchell in the Carnegie Hall concert of South Pacific. Hollywood Bowl audiences saw him as Cecil B. DeMille in last summer's Sunset Blvd. TV fans will remember Schuck as Enright in McMillan and Wife, starring Rock Hudson. He has guest starred in over 75 shows and is a recurring character on Law & Order SVU. He is married to the well-known West Coast painter, Harrison Houle.
