Adam J. Smith

About this Artist

Originally from Chicago, Adam threw himself into the arts at the age of 6, both playing the piano (even some Mozart!) and oil painting. He made his theatrical debut in his 2nd grade class in a play he wrote, directed and starred in, Detective Snoodles. Since then, he has performed in numerous plays Off Broadway/Off-Off Broadway, regionally, and internationally. Favorites include Orpheus & Eurydice (adobe theatre co), Beauty (La Jolla Playhouse), and Angels in America (UCSD/La Jolla Playhouse), among others. He's also been in films and on TV, such as Without a Trace and Numb3rs. He was very excited to win a regional Emmy Award for When Things Get Small, a wacky science TV show he starred in/hosted (check it out on the web!). He has an MFA in Acting from UCSD.
