JUECHENG CHEN (Ju-eh) (Lonely Spirit / Ensemble) is a conceptual virtuosic countertenor. With 10 years of worldwide classical singing training (London, Paris, The Hague, and New York), he specializes in presenting what classical music can be today. Praised by New York Music Daily as “such prodigious talent,” Ju-eh has just premiered his very own opera as Ju-eh+Hwarg based on Ju-eh’s life story in February 2019. His future engagements include appearances at the Prototype Festival with Beth Morrison Projects in 2020 and his long-running improvised opera salon series in New York City, among others.
