Lauded for her “honey-colored tone” and “the most radiant solo singing” by Opera News, soprano JESSICA BEEBE (Ensemble / Old Traveler / Ice Demon) is steadily gaining international attention as an affecting interpreter of repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary American opera.

Jessica Beebe has performed as a guest soloist with several major orchestras and ensembles across the country, including the New York Chamber Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, the English Concert with Harry Bickett, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra with Raymond Leppard, Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, the Folger Consort, Piffaro Renaissance Wind Band, Princeton Festival Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has debuted several new operas with Opera Philadelphia, including David Hertzberg’s The Wake World, Jennifer Higdon’s Cold Mountain, and Lembit Beecher’s Sky on Swings. Most recently, the artist covered the title role in Handel’s Semele with Harry Bicket and the English Concert, in an international tour ending in Carnegie Hall.

Jessica Beebe is a member of Grammy Award-winning ensemble The Crossing, Grammy-nominated ensemble Clarion Society, and Variant Six, and has made return solo appearances with Choral Arts Philadelphia.
