Korean violinist Youngji Kim is a graduate of the Seoul Arts High School and Seoul National University, and studied in a masterclass with Pinchas Zukerman. She has been performing in Korean orchestras since 2009, and made her solo debut under the auspices of the Kumho Prodigy Concert series for gifted artists in 2017. She participated in the Summit Music Festival (USA) in 2013 and the Pablo Casals Festival (France) in 2018. Her musical awards include winning the Segye Ilbo Competition in 2013 and the KBS KEPCO Competition in 2016.
