About this Artist

Manuel is considered the guitarist of guitarists. One of admiration and respect. He paved the way for up and coming talent with his progressive yet deep rooted style of playing. Son of guitarist Juan Parrilla and nephew of the legend Parrilla de Jerez.

His recordings are a reference point for emerging artists and he is widely respected for his unique rhythm and endless creativity.

Among the greats with whom he has regularly and internationally toured are Joaquin Cortes, La Tati, and La Macanita, and many more.

He is part of the trio “Alburejo,” with his brothers Bernardo, (violin,) and Juan, (flute) continuously working with outstanding artists in all of the major festivals in Spain and abroad.
