About this Artist

Chloe is a flautist and freshman at The University of Tampa studying Music Education and is an alumni of the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA). Music was always apart of her life thanks to her mom. She started playing the flute in fourth grade at her elementary school, Pennypacker Elementary. She is a former student of Temple University’s Community Music Scholars Program (CMSP), where she took lessons and music theory classes. During her sophomore year, she was accepted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance for Youth (PMAY) Artists' Initiative. With the help of this organization, she was able to attend Philadelphia International Music Festival (PIMF), where she took lessons with former Philadelphia Orchestra flautist, Loren Lind as well as the Summer Music Academy at Ithaca College. She is a former student of Susanna Loewy and now currently studies with Taylor Lam through Temple Prep. With the help of her teachers she has been able to participate in both Philadelphia All-City Band and Orchestra. She is currently a Project 440 Doing Good student, Youth Advisory Council member, and intern working under Samantha Apgar, Managing Director for Project 440. Chloe is an active participant in her community, organizing local and nationwide events such as New York based initiative, Bach in the Subway. In her free time, Chloe enjoys photography and binge-watching The Office.
