About this Artist
Marquise Bradley, a clarinetist and native Philadelphian is currently a freshman at the Cleveland Institute of Music where he studies under Afendi Yusuf. In addition to his clarinet studies, he is also pursuing a minor in Leadership at the Weatherhead School of Management. While in high school, Marquise was accepted into the Primavera Fund, an organization that financially supports young artists in their musical endeavours. With their support, a career in classical music became possible for him. During his time in Philadelphia, Bradley was the Principal Clarinet of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and the All-City Orchestra. In March of 2019, Marquise was named the winner of the All-City Concerto Competition and made his solo debut in Verizon Hall of the Kimmel Center. In 2018, Marquise and his friends founded the Center City Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble that is comprised of, conducted, and administered by students in the Greater Philadelphia area.
