About this Artist

Juan Esteban Ruiz is a 12-year-old flute player born in the city of Bogotá. In 2019, he joined the Musical Training Project “Vamos a la Filarmónica” of the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra (OFB). Initially as a student he played at the Usaquén Philharmonic Center, later in the Children’s Philharmonic Orchestra, and currently in the Pre-Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. 
 
Throughout his learning process, he has received classes with OFB training artists who highlight his talent and humanity. Thanks to the support of his family and the training strategies implemented by the OFB, he has managed to continue his musical studies through today.
