About this Artist
Bass-baritone Andrew Allan Hiers is excited to make his POP debut with an opera he’s come to know so well. Having performed Don Magnifico most recently with Northern Lights Music Festival, in addition to productions with Opera Colorado and the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco, he’s eager to return to the role of Alidoro for the first time since his early days of performing in NYC.
As a native Floridian, Andrew has been fortunate to participate in several productions during the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. He recently performed Benoit/Alcindoro in La bohème with Gulfshore Opera, Doctor Grenvil in La Traviata, and Arab in a concert version of West Side Story for Opera Naples’ “Festival Under the Stars,” as well as being a finalist in Vero Beach Opera’s “Rising Stars of Opera” Competition.
