Gabriela Camejo

Gabriela Camejo is a Venezuelan producer and art historian. In 2013, Camejo coordinated the production for the Cirque Du Soleil show Alegría on tour in Spain, and, in 2016, she produced the multimedia presentation of The Creation by Joseph Haydn for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel. In 2017, she produced the documentary Guaco: Semblanza (a.k.a Guaco) directed by Alberto Arvelo, nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the Best Long Form Music Video category. In 2019, Camejo produced the video art for Dudamel's performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Princeton University and Peralada Music Festival  Mahler Chamber Orchestra. ln 2020, she produced the documentary Free Color, based on the iconic  t Carlos Cruz-Diez, premiered at Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). She also produced the Free Color soundtrack, a special compilation of original music composed by Devendra Banhart, Gustavo Dudamel, Nascuy Linares, Álvaro Paiva-Bimbo, and Sebastián Arvelo. In 2021, Camejo produced the documentary Encuentros, based on Transfigured Night by Arnold Schoenberg, combined with a conversation about the importance of art between architect Frank Gehry, Spanish actress Maria Valverde, professor Carmen Calvo, and conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
