About this Artist

Ané Carrasco is a flamenco percussionist born in Seville, raised in Jerez de la Frontera. He is the son of flamenco singer and composer Diego Carrasco.

Like his father, he comes from a very important flamenco dynasty from the infamous gypsy neighborhood of Santiago in Jerez de la Frontera. He debuted at the age of 12 with his father in the internationally known “Fiesta de la Bulería de Jerez”, and has not stopped working since.

He has collaborated with artists of national and international fame such as Miguel Poveda, Moraíto Chico, Diego el Cigala, Niña Pastori, and Rosalia.

His outstanding talent makes him one of the most in demand musicians in the flamenco scene.
