About this Artist

Adrian Govea started out in the Alhambra High School Marching Band as a tenor saxophone player. He played many instruments along the way, including flute, piccolo, clarinet, baritone saxophone, and viola, and started color guard his sophomore year. Adrian graduated in 2020 and auditioned for Drum Corps International and Winter Guard International. He marched with the Sacramento Mandarins in 2021 and Diamante Independent World Winter Guard in 2022, where they placed second at world championships. In 2023, Adrian marched with Vox Artium Open Winter Guard and took first place in open class. Also in 2023, Adrian joined The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, who won for the 21st consecutive time in World Championships and was awarded “The George Zingali” for Best Color Guard.
