Vanessa Palomino

Vanessa Palomino is a singer and music educator born and raised in Los Angeles. As the daughter of Bolivian immigrants, she is deeply committed to making music from around the world accessible to all communities. Palomino currently serves as a teaching artist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s El Sistema-inspired program, YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) in East Los Angeles. She also serves as a program manager and educator with the Bloom Arts Foundation, where she teaches early childhood music, develops curriculum, and leads professional development for fellow music educators. In addition to her work in arts education, she serves her local church community as a cantor and section leader. As a professional vocalist, Palomino has toured internationally with choirs, recorded on Grammy-nominated albums, and collaborated with acclaimed producers and musicians throughout Los Angeles. Her experience as an educator spans pre-K through 12th grade, where she has led choirs, taught general music, and fostered joyful, inclusive learning environments that inspire creativity, confidence, and connection through music.
