Sophia Morales is a Mexican/Indigenous actress from the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She is profoundly Deaf and wears a right side Cochlear Implant — she communicates through ASL and spoken English. Sophia gained recognition after garnering large followings on TikTok and Instagram from ASL signed interpretations of pop songs. This included being asked by Paramore to sign one of their hits “Still into You” in a video that was used throughout their 2022 world tour. She also had the opportunity to sign Disney “Colors of the Wind”, a collaboration with Deaf West Theatre and Disney Music.
