About this Artist
I began playing percussion in 6th grade and never stopped. I went to the University of North Texas (I hail from the great state of Texas!) where I majored in music education and continued my graduate studies at Cal State Long Beach and USC in percussion performance. I am both an educator and performer throughout Los Angeles. I’m currently a teaching artist for the LA Phil and Harmony Project. I also perform regularly with symphonies around LA which have included the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Redlands Symphony and Santa Barbara Symphony.
As a Los Angeles Philharmonic Teaching Artist I have many things to offer you:
Teaching/playing in all areas of percussion (symphonic, drumline, jazz, latin)
Rehearsing a full orchestra/band rehearsal
Percussion ensembles
Music theory classes
Rhythm classes
I love what I do and have a lot of fun in my career. Music has been such a rewarding experience for me in my life and I want other people to have the same opportunity.
