Marie Zamora has performed worldwide as an actress and singer. She originated the role of Cosette in the Paris production of Les Misérables. Her other principal roles include Kate in Kiss Me Kate, Chairy in Barnum, and Sina Marnis in Pirandello’s Les Nouvelles de Sicile. Marie played Eve in the original New York production of Manhattan Parisienne and reprised the role in London. Marie appeared as the guest soloist for Michel Legrand’s tours in France, Japan, Israel, Russia and Bulgaria and at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket in London. Marie has performed her solo concerts in London and Paris as well as at Joe’s Pub and LFNY in New York. Marie has been a soloist in Do You Hear The People Sing? since its inception, in the United States, Canada, China, the Philippines and Australia, including performances at Carnegie Hall and recently the Sydney Opera House. Marie performed the role of Marie Antoinette in the world premiere concert in English of La Révolution Française in Chicago. As a director, Marie’s credits include Marguerite in Ostrava (Czech Republic), where she was also co-book writer with Alain Boublil and Michel Legrand, as well as her own production of Les Misérables in Bratislava. Marie has written her first screenplay, partly biographical, Aurora, and her movie project is being developed in Los Angeles. Marie is the mother of two sons, Adrien and Maxime.
