Welcome to Rhythmic Relations 2021! Thank you for joining us here tonight at the beautiful Ford Theatre. We are excited to be back onstage and to share the evening with all of you.
Last year, we shifted our plans for a concert at the Ford to our first online concert, streamed on YouTube Live. We delivered instruments to all of our cast members, and produced audio click tracks for them to listen and play along to. Each performer filmed themselves playing their part at home, and then we edited all the videos together into a full-length show. While we were glad we figured out how to pivot and still put on a concert, we are grateful to have survived the pandemic, and to be able to perform for you live tonight.
To our BaseBeat donors, funders, friends, family, production team, and volunteers, thank you so much for all your support. We truly wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you.
