Ashley Park

First Violin

Ashley Jeehyun Park is a violinist from New York.

She joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic in February 2022. Park is a graduate of The Juilliard School and studied principally with Joel Smirnoff, Ronald Copes, Hyo Kang, I-Hao Lee, and K.G. Zhang. She served as Concertmaster of The Juilliard Orchestra and has performed with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra as visiting Principal Second Violin, with the Verbier Festival Orchestra, and with the New York Philharmonic.

Park has received accolades including first prize at the Hudson Valley String Competition, second prize at the Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition, and a distinction from the National YoungArts Foundation. She has also competed at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, the Joseph Joachim Violin Competition, and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition.
