Jeffrey Strong

Member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since 2019
Jeffrey Strong is Third/Utility Trumpet of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Before joining the LA Phil, Strong spent four years in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra as Second Trumpet. Strong also served as a member of the trumpet/cornet section in “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band from 2009 until 2015, often featured as a soloist. Additionally, Strong has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and he was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
