Miguel Zazueta

MIGUEL ANGEL ZAZUETA (Male Guide) is an interdisciplinary artist from Tijuana, México. He has been instructed by artists like Meredith Monk, Jorge Folgueira, Carmina Escobar and Wilfrido Terrazas. He has premiered multiple contemporary musical works from mexican composers, including opera’s leading roles as in "Después el paraíso" from the young composer Luis Paúl Millán, performed in the Festival Internacional Cervantino 2018. He has also collaborated with the experimental vocalist, Carmina Escobar in her works "Pura Entraña" taken place in REDCAT (2018), and “The Fundamental Impermanence of all Things” in The WENDE Museum (2019). Recently he has been casted for the new production of Meredith Monk’s “Quarry”.
