Coming Together Around Bach’s "Air"
At the LA Phil’s first concert since the wildfire crisis of January 2025, the orchestra paid tribute to the first responders and those affected by the tragedy.
On January 16, 2025, the Los Angeles Philharmonic had its first performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall since the heartbreaking wildfires that devastated the Pacific Palisades, Pasadena and Altadena communities, and several other areas across the region.
As a tribute to the city, the heroic first responders, dedicated volunteers, and those affected by the crisis, we opened the concert with Bach's serene and poignant “Air.”
Through March 31, 2025, 5% of ticket purchases for LA Phil concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall will go to support the Los Angeles County Parks Foundation as they rebuild parks, trails, and nature centers devastated by the fires.
