Live Recording in Walt Disney Concert Hall Features LA Phil Led By Music Director Gustavo Dudamel in Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 and John Adams’ City Noir

As part of the DG Concerts series, Deutsche Grammophon will release a live video recording of the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel in John Adams’ City Noir and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. This performance, available for download in its entirety, marks the first ever classical concert video to be released on iTunes. This concert was recorded live in Walt Disney Concert Hall at Gustavo Dudamel’s Inaugural Gala on October 8, 2009. City Noir was commissioned specifically for the event and received its world premiere that evening.
