WHAT:
Jazz guitarist/singer John Pizzarelli joins his wife, actress/singer Jessica Molaskey, for A Swingin’ Christmas at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, December 20, at 8 PM. Joined by Larry Fuller on piano, Martin Pizzarelli on upright bass and Tony Tedesco on drums, Pizzarelli and Molaskey will perform a swinging selection of standards and seasonal favorites.
John Pizzarelli has been credited by the Boston Globe with “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz.” The Seattle Times called him “a tour de force” and “a rare entertainer of the old school.” And, after a recent performance with his wife, the New York Times raved, “the Pizzarelli-Molaskey duo are as good as it gets in any entertainment medium.”
