Phoenix Announces New Album, Ti Amo, Out June 9

WHAT:

Mac DeMarco will join the lineup featuring previously announced Phoenix and The Lemon Twigs at Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, June 15.

Phoenix announces their sixth studio album today (April 27), titled Ti Amo and set for release on June 9 via Loyaute/Glassnote Records. With Ti Amo described by Phoenix guitarist Laurent Brancowitz in The New York Times as recalling "summer and Italian discos," the band also revealed the album's first single "J-Boy."

Fresh off performances at Coachella, Mac DeMarco is set to release his upcoming album This Old Dog May 5 via Captured Tracks. This will be the young rock-and-roll artist's fifth release in just over half a decade, and features acoustic guitar, synthesizer, drum machine, and electric guitar.
