WHAT:
Jonathon Heyward, an LA Phil Dudamel Conducting Fellow, replaces Miguel Harth-Bedoya in one of of the orchestra's Bernstein @ 100 programs, Friday, December 1 through Sunday, December 3. Harth-Bedoya was forced to withdraw due to illness.
In the performances, Stravinsky's Firebird Suite (1919) and Glinka's Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture replace the originally programmed Rachmaninoff Symphony No. 3.
Soloist Hilary Hahn will play Bernstein's Serenade as previously scheduled as part of the orchestra's centennial celebration of Leonard Bernstein.
