WHAT:
The mighty Walt Disney Concert Hall organ is featured in the opening event of the Deck The Hall series, in a concert of holiday music and merriment with organist David Higgs, soprano Lisa Vroman, harpist Mindy Ball and percussionist Bernie Dresel. The program is full of holiday favorites including Joy to the World, The Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night and O Come, All Ye Faithful.
Deck the Hall, presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, is a series of festive performances throughout the month of December featuring an array of exceptional artists offering seasonal music. Other performances include Handel’s Messiah, December 15 & 16; Chanticleer, December 17; Holiday Sing-Along, December 19 at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM; Holidays with Sweet Honey In The Rock, December 22; Preservation Hall Jazz Band: A Creole Christmas, December 23; and New Year’s Eve with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, December 31 at 7 PM and 10:30 PM
