Deutsche Grammophon releases on December 15, 2009 a live recording on DVD of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Inaugural Concert led by newly-appointed Music Director Gustavo Dudamel. The program features the world premiere performance of John Adams’ City Noir and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. This concert was recorded live in Walt Disney Concert Hall on October 8, 2009, and was previously televised as part of PBS’ Great Performances series.
