Marking the 90th birthdays of Steve Reich and Philip Glass and John Adams’ 80th, the LA Phil celebrates the movement that shaped the trajectory of music in the US and globally, proving that there is beauty in simplicity and less is more. Featuring early Minimalist masterpieces, world premieres, a program dedicated to spirituality, and a special staged production of Meredith Monk’s 2023 full-length Indra’s Net, the festival traces the movement from its prolific roots to its modern-day manifestations.
