YOLA at Inglewood
YOLA at Inglewood is an after-school program that offers classes Monday through Thursday and provides instruments, training, and world-class exposure to classical music and beyond.
This institution is a cultural resource for the people of Inglewood, and acts as the focal point of the LA Phil’s commitment to community engagement in the area. The project, which has emerged out of a close collaboration between of the City of Inglewood, architect Frank Gehry, and LA Phil Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, was made possible by a leadership gift from Judith and Thomas L. Beckmen.

What Goes Into A Day At YOLA
Whether you’re a teacher, mentor, student or parent, YOLA at Inglewood is a home for all. Once you step inside the Beckmen YOLA Center, you’re welcomed by the excited and expectant teaching artists, and enveloped with the sounds of tuning instruments or practicing the latest symphony piece.
Edgerton Foundation Performance Hall
The 250-seat Performance Hall was designed to match the same dimensions and caliber as the LA Phil's Walt Disney Concert Hall stage.
