YOLA Scientific Studies & Research
Music's impact extends far beyond performance. Through a landmark research partnership with USC, YOLA has helped uncover how sustained music training can influence children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
YOLA Scholarships
In 2024, with the help of our philanthropic community, the YOLA Scholarship Program provided 22 new scholarships to graduating seniors, nearly 70% of whom are first-generation college students, in amounts ranging from $1,500-$5,000 and totaling $77,000. All 22 awardees even joined the LA Phil on an orchestra tour to Europe, making them globetrotters in addition to scholars—and even before their college journeys have begun!
