Not that long ago, Lucy Dacus was an indie singer-songwriter whose aching songs of queer love had earned her a small but deeply devoted following. Now, she’s a Rolling Stone cover star and Grammy winner who’s played everywhere from Madison Square Garden to the Bowl with her boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. And as her profile has grown, so too has her knack for penning lyrics that pierce straight to the yearning heart of contemporary relationships. Alongside the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, she makes her solo debut on our stage, performing songs from her new album Forever is a Feeling that explore “the fears and delights that go along with falling hard for someone,” as The New York Times says.
