Britten’s masterful Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings spotlights the brilliance of our own Principal Horn, Australian Andrew Bain, a world-leading horn player. The monumental fanfare that begins Strauss’ Also sprach Zarathustra was made famous by its role in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
