2017/18 Walt Disney Concert Hall
Inside the Music
With Inside the Music, you get an array of enhancements to help you get more out of your musical encounter: a beautifully produced behind-the-scenes video and podcast, pre-concert presentations, and insight from the musicians.
This season, it includes an evening of music written by Mozart in his final, fateful year and a program featuring Strauss’ Alpine Symphony, as well as the newly revised version of Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Wing on Wing, which he originally composed for the opening of Walt Disney Concert Hall. Gustavo Dudamel teams with director Peter Sellars for a performance of Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri for the series closer.
