TOM BOSLEY’s (Starkeeper, Doctor Seldon) remarkable career spans more than 50 years and includes great success in theater, film, and television. For 11 years, he starred in the phenomenally successful series Happy Days, and received two Emmy nominations. He then co-starred with Angela Lansbury in Murder, She Wrote and followed this with his starring role in his own series, The Father Dowling Mysteries. He created the role of Maurice in the Broadway and national touring productions of Beauty and the Beast, and then toured again in the Hal Prince national company of Show Boat, starring as Cap’n Andy. Bosley studied acting with the late Lee Strasberg and, in 1959, George Abbott chose him for the starring role in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Fiorello, for which he won a Tony Award, a Variety Critics Award, the Newspaper Guild of America Award, and an ANTA Award, making him the first actor to win all four laurels in one year; he subsequently starred on Broadway in six other productions. He made his motion picture debut in 1962 in Love With a Proper Stranger.
