About this Artist

Agathe Rousselle is a French actress based in Paris. After a few short movies and experimental projects she was discovered as the lead part of Titane by Julia Ducournau (Palme d’Or 2021). Since then, she has been involved in both French and international feature films.

She also published several photography books and zines and co-founded the art fanzine Peach. In 2022 she met with Matt Copson about an opera based on Last Days (Gus vAn Sant, 2005) he had co-written with Oliver Leigh and their fruitful collaboration started, leading to four shows at the Royal Opera House in London in October 2022, and at the LA Phil in February 2023.
