Devonté (Dev) Hynes is a producer, songwriter, and artist based in New York City. He has written and produced songs for a wide range of artists including Solange Knowles, Florence and the Machine and Tinashe. Hynes also writes music under the moniker of Blood Orange and has released two albums, Coastal Grooves and Cupid Deluxe , on Domino Recording Co.

Last year, he scored the film Palo Alto, written by Gia Coppola and written by James Franco, and was a speaker at the 2014 TED conference in Vancouver. Recently, Hynes wrote and produced “All That” for Carly Rae Jepsen, the second single from her album, which they debuted together on Saturday Night Live in April. In December, he sold out two shows at the Apollo with all proceeds benefitting Opus 118 Harlem School of Music.
