Christoph Fischer
CHRISTOPH FISCHER (scenic design) is an Austrian-born stage designer. He studied at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna and now works in film, theater, and opera. He has been working for several years in TV commercials as an art director and worked as a stage design assistant at several opera houses, including the Bayerische Staatsoper, Volksbühne Berlin, and Gärtnerplatztheater. His own productions have been seen at Oper Frankfurt, Staatsoper Hamburg, Wien Modern Festival, and Prague Quadrennial 2015 where he won the category for “Best Shared Space.” He currently lives in Frankfurt am Main and works at Oper Frankfurt.
