Doug grew up on the beach in South Florida. He has been a writer since the third grade, when he stumbled upon an old typewriter in his parents’ garage. He published a family newsletter about the comings and goings of his seven brothers and sisters. Doug now lives in Los Angeles with his own family, including his little boy Gideon and a cat, and writes plays and books for kids, among other stuff.
