Joaquín Grilo
Joaquin Grilo Mateos, found worldwide exposure touring with Paco De Lucia where the legendary guitarist showcased Joaquin’s technical and charismatic artistry. He was also featured in the Carlos Saura Film, “Flamenco”. Has won numerous awards and has performed with all the outstanding flamenco artists including, Miguel Poveda, Dorantes, Vicente Amigo among many others.
He presently performs and directs his own company where he continues to defy the conventional forms of flamenco dance, always pushing the envelope creating memorable and provocative performances such as “La Calle De mis Sueños” (The street of my dreams.)
He Performs continuously as guest artist in all the major festivals where he showcases his ever evolving style and incomparable range as performer, director and choreographer.
