Pianist JOHN MARK HARRIS has concertized throughout the United States and Europe with a repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the music of today. Recent appearances include the La Jolla Summerfest and the Donaueschingen Musiktage (with the Southwest German Radio Symphony); other appearances include recitals in New York, Poland, and Edinburgh. He has played the first performances of many works, including pieces by Czernowin, Finnissy, and Helps. Harris currently studies with Aleck Karis at UCSD, where he will graduate in the spring with a doctorate in piano performance.
