In addition to flute instruction, leading woodwind sectionals, assisting with tuning, reading notes, basic breathing skills and exercises, I am available to help in these ways:

I have a doctorate in music so I would be happy to help with music theory and /or music history so as to provide the kids with a broader base of information about music in general terms.

I want to help the kids "own" their musical instruction. We can work on band and orchestra music as well as scales, but I also would like to expose them to real flute music. I hope to create more incentive/purpose to take their instruments home, practice so they feel a great sense of accomplishment.

RESOURCES I would like to help them so they can help themselves in finding music to play, recordings to listen to, etc.....
