The LAUSD/Beyond the Bell All-City Jazz Band, in partnership with the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz at UCLA, comprises the top high school music students currently enrolled in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), the second largest public school district in the nation.  Under the co-direction of Herbie Hancock Institute VP for Education and Curriculum Development JB Dyas and LAUSD/Beyond the Bell Music and Entertainment Coordinator Tony White, the band rehearses and performs all styles of jazz from its inception to today.
