The LA Phil often celebrates Lunar New Year with a specially curated program to reflect the festive spirit of the holiday and the promise of a prosperous year ahead.
For the 2025/26 season, Acting Concertmaster Bing Wang selected ChinaSong, a collection of Chinese folk songs arranged by Yi-Wen Jiang and recorded by the Shanghai Quartet, as the centerpiece of the program.
