Jessie Montgomery’s Strum – described as “turbulent, wildly colorful, and exploding with life” by the Washington Post – is performed by LA Phil Principal Concertmaster Martin Chalifour, Principal Second Violins Lyndon Johnston Taylor, Principal Viola Teng Li, and Associate Principal Cello Ben Hong in an al-fresco recital in Los Angeles.
