July 16, 2015, Los Angeles – Final casting for the Hollywood Bowl’s upcoming production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005, has been announced: Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred, and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot.

Monty Python’s Spamalot will also star previously announced Merle Dandridge as The Lady of the Lake, Warwick Davis as Patsy, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Sir Robin, Eric Idle as the Historian, Craig Robinson as King Arthur and Christian Slater as Sir Galahad. BT McNicholl will direct. Spamalot will be conducted by Todd Ellison and have choreography adapted and re-staged by Scott Taylor and Billy Sprague Jr., from the original by Casey Nicholaw.

Monty Python’s Spamalot will have three performances at the Hollywood Bowl this summer – Friday, July 31, at 8 PM, Saturday, August 1, at 8 PM and Sunday, August 2, at 7:30 PM.

Kevin Chamberlin received Tony® and Drama Desk® award nominations for his roles as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, Horton the Elephant in Seussical, and Charlie in Dirty Blonde.  He’s also appeared on Broadway in revivals of Chicago and The Ritz.  Kevin Chamberlin’s film credits include Die Hard: With a Vengeance, Ang Lee’s Taking Woodstock, In & Out, Suspect Zero and Christmas with the Kranks.  He appeared as Dad in last year’s Hair at the Hollywood Bowl.  Kevin currently stars as Bertram in the Disney Channel’s hit sitcom Jessie.

Tom Deckman has appeared on Broadway in Monty Python’s Spamalot and Good Vibrations. Deckman’s other theater credits include The Merry Widow at the Metropolitan Opera, South Pacific at Carnegie Hall, It Shoulda Been You at George Street Playhouse and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at Goodspeed Opera House. His television work includes guest spots on Sex and the City, Law & Order: SVU, and Blue Bloods.

Rick Holmes’s Broadway credits include The Visit, Lancelot in Monty Python’s Spamalot, Cabaret, Major Barbara, and Peter and the Starcatcher, among others. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Stop Kiss and Dog Opera at The Public Theater, as well as Clean at Atlantic Theatre and Hapgood at Lincoln Center. His film credits include Melinda and Melinda and The Stepford Wives; on television he has guest starred on The Good Wife, All My Children, Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.

Monty Python’s Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail. The show features lusty maidens, dancing divas, a killer rabbit and a legless knight. It has been honored with dozens of awards, including the Grammy for Best Original Cast Recording and three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Monty Python’s Spamalot has book and lyrics by Eric Idle and music by John Du Prez & Eric Idle. Lovingly ripped off from the motion picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail, by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, Spamalot had its Broadway debut in 2005, directed by Mike Nichols.
