Los Angeles, CA (Monday, June 20) - Rock & Roll Hall of Fame icon Steven Tyler is confirmed to join Jeff Beck and other special guests including Beth Hart for 50 Years of Jeff Beck at the Hollywood Bowl on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at 8:00 PM. Legendary Chicago bluesman Buddy Guy opens the show.
Over the course of Jeff Beck's illustrious 50-year career, the trailblazing guitarist has earned many accolades. He has twice been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - first, as a member of the Yardbirds in 1992, and, again, as a solo artist, in 2009. Rolling Stone ranked him as one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and he has earned a total of eight Grammy Awards during his career. On July 15, Beck will release his first new studio album in six years, Loud Hailer, on Atco. In addition, he has been hard at work on his official, limited-edition book, BECK01, available on July 12. On August 10, Beck will make his Hollywood Bowl debut for a very special, career-spanning concert that celebrates 50 years of dynamic music making.
One of music's most recognizable and dynamic performers, Tyler has been cited by Rolling Stone as "one of the greatest singers of all time." Tyler and Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million records worldwide and Tyler has won four GRAMMY® Awards, six American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards and an Emmy® Award. In addition to having nine number one hits, Aerosmith has received 25 Gold, 18 Platinum and 12 multi-Platinum album certifications. Tyler's highly anticipated upcoming solo album is scheduled for release July 15th on Big Machine Label Group's Dot Records.
