About this Piece
Joe Hisaishi’s original music has become synonymous with the magical Studio Ghibli animations of director Hayao Miyazaki—in such beloved films as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and My Neighbor Totoro, to name but those. The streaming hit “Merry-Go-Round of Life” from Studio Ghibli favorite Howl’s Moving Castle has recently been given a new arrangement by the composer for symphony orchestra.
